STEM-2-GO Launch Success: Delivering 1,600+ Hands-On STEM Kits Across Northeast Oklahoma
At Makeba Designs, innovation means more than creating products. It means creating opportunities. That belief came to life through our first STEM-2-GO initiative, launched in collaboration with Kidvation Global. Together, we delivered more than 1,600 hands-on STEM kits to students across Northeast Oklahoma.
This milestone marked the beginning of something bigger than a single distribution. It was the start of a movement to place creativity, exploration, and discovery directly into the hands of young learners.
A Collaboration Rooted in Purpose
The STEM-2-GO initiative was built on a shared mission between Makeba Designs and Kidvation Global: make STEM education accessible, engaging, and exciting for every student, regardless of background or resources.
Through this collaboration, we combined creative design, educational planning, and community outreach to create kits that encouraged hands-on learning. Each kit was carefully assembled to introduce students to real STEM concepts in ways that felt fun, approachable, and meaningful.
From the earliest planning stages to final delivery, this project was powered by vision, teamwork, and a deep commitment to the future of our youth.

Behind the scenes, this effort required coordination, organization, and dedication. Volunteers, educators, and community partners worked together to ensure every kit reached the students who needed them most.
We also extend a special thank you to Church Ablaze for generously opening their fellowship hall to support this initiative. Their willingness to share space with the community created an environment where volunteers could gather, organize, and prepare kits efficiently. Their hospitality played a meaningful role in helping this effort reach so many students.
